What is the Hornsea Collective?
The Hornsea Collective is a community of independent businesses based in and around Hornsea who share a passion for supporting one another and showcasing everything that makes our corner of East Yorkshire so special.
Rather than competing, members work together to encourage visitors to discover more of the fantastic local businesses, services and experiences our area has to offer.
It’s a wonderful reminder that when small businesses support each other, everyone benefits—including the people who come to visit.
Why Supporting Local Matters
When you choose to visit an independent café, browse a local gift shop or buy from a family-run business, you’re doing far more than making a purchase.
You’re helping local families, supporting jobs within the community and allowing small businesses to continue doing what they love.
Many of these businesses are run by people who genuinely care about their customers and take enormous pride in what they do.
That passion is something you can really feel when you visit.

One of the joys of staying at Bumblebee Escapes is discovering somewhere new.
Whether that’s finding a café serving incredible homemade cakes, browsing beautiful independent gift shops, enjoying locally produced food or meeting talented artists and makers, there are so many hidden gems waiting to be explored.
