Whether you’re looking for a hearty breakfast before a day of exploring, somewhere cosy to escape the rain, or simply a slice of homemade cake after a walk along the promenade, Hornsea has plenty of fantastic independent cafés to choose from.
One of the things we love most is that many of these businesses are independently owned, each with its own personality and friendly welcome.
Wherever you decide to stop, you’re likely to find freshly brewed coffee, delicious homemade treats and genuine Yorkshire hospitality.
Rather than rushing from one attraction to another, we’d encourage you to slow down, grab a window seat and simply enjoy watching the world go by.

- The Lounge – Serves breakfast and lunch, with great coffee!
- Lindsay’s Café – Sea views and beautiful sandwiches!
- Green Owl Mediterranean Café Bar – Bottom Lunch on Saturdays 12pm-3pm, also serving insane tapas dishes!
Our advice? Don’t just visit one café during your stay—try somewhere different each time. Every visit supports a fantastic local business and gives you another reason to fall in love with Hornsea.
